NWAG Hub FM - Digital Crossmode
Our NWAG Allstar hub node 47977 has cross-mode analogue to digital transcoding to several digital modes.
This means you can use your personal digital hotspot or local digital repeater/gateway to connect to the analogue FM side of our NWAG hub.
XLX977 module D reflector provides connections for Dstar, DMR and Fusion.
Dstar - Reflector is XLX977-D
Fusion - Reflector is XLX977-D you can't select module D in Pi-Star but the reflector will automatically connect you to the Fusion module if you select YSF71776 - XLX977 - GB3RFNWRGroup as the reflector in your YSF Link Manager. The XLX reflector lets you select which module you connect to using Fusions DG-ID. Module D is DG-ID 13 or 0 because Module D is the default module. To use the DG-ID function you must select the DG-ID you want to use in your radio and transmit to the reflector to make the selection.
DMR - XLX Master is XLX_977 Module D TG6. In Pi-Star configuration set your DMR Master to DMRGateway, XLX Master to XLX_977, XLX Startup Module to D, XLX Master Enabled and use TG6
Also for DMR users we have a link to Brandmeister DMR TG 235175, you can use TG 235175 while your hotspot is connected to a Brandmeister server to connect to our multimode XLX server and our analogue repeater.
Transcoding between DStar, DMR and Fusion is done by the XLX reflector using 2 DVMEGA DVstick33. These contain AMBE-3003™ vocoders giving us 6 transcoding channels. Analogue Allstar is transcoded to Fusion and linked to XLX977-D using a DVMEGA DVstick 30 which contains an AMBE-3000™ vocoder. We believe this combination of hardware and software gives the best audio quality and low lag times.

The M17-NWR reflector provides connections for M17 which is a new digital radio protocol in development as an alternative to those currently available and is being developed by amateurs. GB3RF is linked to M17-NWR Module D.
Information about M17 can be found here.
