GB3PN is a 70cm FM repeater in Lytham, Lancashire. The NOV holder is Dave Austin M0DKR.
It transmits on 430.9500MHz, and has a +7.6MHz split with a CTCSS access tone of 82.5Hz.

Repeater Tones
Several tones are used by the repeater to indicate its operational states.
When you transmit into the repeater and it's connected to another node, as you unkey, the gateway will reply with a morse K (dah-dit-dah) with a higher frequency of 1200Hz.
When you transmit into the repeater and it isn't connected to another node, as you unkey, the gateway will reply with a morse K (dah-dit-dah) with a lower frequency of 800Hz.
When a remote user on the network ends transmission you will hear a morse I ( dit-dit).

Radio Settings.
To use a repeater you need to listen to its transmitter frequency and transmit on its receive frequency. This can be confusing so these are the settings you need for your radio.
Transmit on 438.550MHz, receive on 430.950MHz and select a CTCSS tone of 82.5Hz.
On many radios, you select the receive frequency of 430.950MHz and an offset of plus 7.6MHz with a tone of 82.5Hz. You can use tone squelch if your radio has this function as the repeater transmits a CTCSS tone of 82.5Hz.
